supports the mission of The Caribbean Institute of Technology by designing and developing systems that will keep an efficient record of students’ profiles and their academic records.  It also coordinates the preparation of exams by instructors, develops strategies for moderation and postmoderation of exams, as well as making grades.

The Department is responsible for overseeing the Academic Affairs and extra curricular activities of the institution.  It works closely with the Executive office, the Training Department, Registrar, and Administration to ensure that the students life on campus is fulfilling and rewarding. 

The Department also manages the student welfare budget, developing activities that will enhance the students’ life in a holistic manner, as well as facilitating academic policies, procedures and standards that are encompassed in the students’ handbook.
