The Caribbean Institute of Technology seeks students who are motivated, driven, and enthusiastic about learning and who are 17 years and older with a solid academic background to join our programmes.  We will provide the foundation that will propel you to excellence in your career.

The admission requirements outlined gives priority to applicants whose total records indicate the greatest likelihood for success.

Mature applicants must complete all program prerequisites and provide proof of their qualification and service in their selected field in order to be considered for admissions. 

Admissions are reviewed by the acceptance committee on a case by case basis. Contact the Admissions office as early as possible to determine your eligibility for admission.

The institution abides by the University Council of Jamaica’s entry requirements and maintains a standard eligibility criteria for its undergraduate programmes at its main campus and extensions.

The entry requirement for both associate and degree programmes are :

All applicants are required to take and pass a psychometric test
Participate in a screening and career guidance interview
5 CXC or GCE Subjects including (Maths, English and 1 Science Subject)

The entry requirement for Diploma programmes are:

All applicants are required to take and pass a psychometric test
Participate in a screening and career guidance interview
