1. Where will the courses be done?
Courses will be online and face-to-face in Kingston & Montego Bay.
2. What is the cost to do the course?
The cost of the programme is JMD3000.00 per credit
3. What is the duration of the course?
The course will last for 12 months
4. What type of certification will be given at the end of the programme.
Upon completion of the programme students will be given a Certificate in GIS from the Caribbean Institute of Technology.
5. Does the course include course material?
Students will have access to the CIT e-learning centre which will provide content, notes and additional resources for the programme.
6. How many persons will be in a class?
A minimum of fifteen persons are required to participate in the class.
7. What is the format of the class?
Classes will be conducted using face to face modality and online.
9. When will classes be held?
Classes will be held weekdays from 5pm - 9pm and every other weekend from 9am - 5pm depending on the nature of the module.
10. What is the entry requirement for the programme?
Entry requirements: 4 O'Levels CXC/GCE inclusive of Geography or Social Studies, Mathematics and English.
11. Is there a payment plan to do the programme?
Fee payments can be made every semester at the beginning of the programme and before sitting a final exam. Students can also make complete payment for a programme at the beginning of the programme.
