IT Challenge |
The IT Challenge competition is a competition that is being spearheaded by the Caribbean Institute of Technology. The competition targets IT students at the tertiary level and is geared at testing the skills of these students in the IT field. The skills that will be tested will cover the five pillars of Information Technology, challenging the students’ skills and knowledge in these areas. The competition will commence in September of each year and will culminate at the Institutions anniversary week of activities in February of each year.

The IT Debate competition is being spearheaded by the Caribbean Institute of Technology. The competition commenced in 2006 and was a success among the secondary schools. The competition is scheduled to commence in September of each year and will culminate during the institution’s anniversary week of activities. The competition targets students in secondary schools.

This competition is an IT Quiz Competition that targets students between the 8th and 9th grades at the secondary level. The competition is scheduled to commence in September of each year and will culminate during the institution’s anniversary week of activities.

World Skills Competition |
Over its 55 year history, WorldSkills International (formerly known as the "Skill Olympics") has come to symbolise the pinnacle of excellence in vocational training. Every two years hundreds of young skilled people, accompanied by their teachers and trainers, gather together from around the world to compete before the public in the skills of their various trades and test themselves against demanding international standards. They represent the best of their peers drawn from regional and national skill competitions held currently in 49 countries/regions.
